ARCHIBALD ALEXANDER HODGE (1823-1886), was an American Presbyterian theologian, the son of Charles Hodge. He was born and died at Princeton, New Jersey. He took his theological training at Princeton College and Princeton Theological Seminary.
Hodge was a leader in the Presbyterian Church, and a trustee of Princeton College. In addition to Outlines of Theology, he wrote The Atonement, Life of Charles Hodge, A Commentary on the Confession of Faith, and Popular Lectures on Theological Themes.
